COVID-19 Update - No Masses at St. Anthony's
To help our island community further prevent the spread of the contagious coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) and to comply with Hawaii’s "Stay-at-home" order, St. Anthony’s church facilities are closed until further notice.
The Diocese of Honolulu provided below guidance on March 27th:
-The public celebration of Mass as well as celebrations during Holy Week, the Paschal Triduum, and Easter Sunday are cancelled.
-The celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion) for the Elect, normally celebrated at the Easter Vigil, is postponed.
-Sacramental confessions will not be offered for the safety of penitents and priests.
-Funerals, weddings and baptisms are postponed until further notice.
