Liturgical Ministries
Eucharistic Ministers
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist assist at Mass by distributing Holy Communion along with the presiding clergy. Some Extraordinary Ministers also help with the Homebound Ministry by taking communion to the sick and homebound during which they read the day’s scriptures and pray with them.

Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priests at Sunday Mass, Holy Days of obligation, and sometimes at weddings and funerals. Altar servers must attend a series of training sessions and make a commitment to serve at the times they are scheduled. Through serving at the altar of Jesus Christ, the server participates in the public worship of the church and learns more about the life and work of the Catholic priest.

Ushers/Greeters
Ushers welcome and offer assistance, as needed, to parishioners and visitors to Mass. Ushers welcome visitors with a shell lei as a sign of aloha, take up the collection, direct traffic during communion, and tidy up the church after Mass.

Music Ministry
We enhance the Liturgical celebration and encourage the congregation’s participation through music. Opportunities exist for those who are interested in sharing their musical gift through singing or playing a musical instrument at our Sunday Masses.
