Interested in Becoming Catholic?

RCIA—Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (and children seven years and above)

Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic faith? The RCIA program is for persons at the age of reason (seven years or older) who are not Catholic, but have an interest in becoming Catholic; or for those who are baptized Catholic, but not brought up in the Catholic faith; or, for anyone (including non-practicing Catholics) interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Interested persons are instructed in the Catholic doctrine and practices to enable them to discern better the call of God.

The usual length of preparation is about one year but may vary, and the sessions are typically conducted weekly, on Sundays, following the 8:30am Mass.

To register, please complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page or print off the attached PDF form, fill it out and turn it into our parish office. The suggested donation is $45 to cover the costs associated with the materials used for RCIA. You can submit your donation online (by clicking the Online Giving option at the top of this website), or you can make your donation in cash or check payable to St. Anthony's Kailua.

For questions about our RCIA program, please contact the Director of Religious Education (808) 791-6525. Additional information can also be found on the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu website by clicking here.
