Interested in Becoming Catholic?

RCIA—Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic faith?  The RCIA program is for adults who are not Catholic, but have an interest in becoming Catholic; or for those who are baptized Catholic, but not brought up in the Catholic faith; or, for anyone (including non-practicing Catholics) interested in learning more about the Catholic faith.  Interested persons are instructed in Catholic doctrine and Catholic practices to enable them to discern better the call of God.  This includes the preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

RCIC—Rite of Christian Initiation for Children:

The RCIC program is for children age seven or older who are not Catholic, but have an interest in becoming Catholic; or, for those who are baptized Catholic, but not brought up in the Catholic faith; or, for anyone including non-practicing Catholics interested in learning more about the Catholic faith.   This includes the preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation.

The usual length of preparation for both RCIA and RCIC averages about one year, but may vary, and the sessions are typically conducted weekly, on Sundays.  Sessions typically begin in the Fall. If you have friends and relatives who are 18 and older who have not been baptized, please talk to them and encourage them to consider Baptism in the Catholic Church.

To register for RCIA or for RCIC, please complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page and click "Submit".
